I just went onto Google Maps to see if the photo montage thingy had been updated. Seeing as it's been almost a year since I had tried, there were definitely some updates!
This picture is on the A243 Hook Road in Chessington. Before I moved up to Worcester (so, before The Z Show) I used to live 15 minutes' walk from The Red Rose of Chessington for about 10 years. It was my local curry house and a regular place for me to go. Great food and, judging by the photo, it's still there. One thing of note is the Woolworth's, a couple of doors up, that went into liquidation recently. Ah, Woolworth's. You sold many a late "have no idea what to buy for xxx" Christmas present to me!
Here's another picture nearer to where I lived - in fact, just behind the house you can see next to the trees on the left. Therefore, The Harrow (taking up most of the picture) was my local pub, which was also a restaurant. The Chortles Gang (me and Kenz, Skitz, Lee and Mez who you'd know from The Z Show, along with Annifer) spent many an hour here!
Unfortunately it's not updated enough to show you where The Z Show started transmission. Maybe one day when Google has taken over the world and photographed everything... ;)
